Different subjects are questioned in these pieces such as migration and walls between countries. The fact that it is only a matter of luck that defines your life. Were you where born mainly evolves in the life you are going to have. Only a mater of luck between a kid born in mist the chaos in Salvador, and a kid born in Switzerland. Only a matter of luck between people trying to flee from Syria and people having a beer in New Zealand.
Other pieces of these series questions garbage and unused materials considered to be trash and turning them into functional pieces that can be part of our daily life. Rehouse of materials thrown out to streets of left in construction sites in Monterrey
The human evolution pieces are mainly inspired by the work of Juan Enriquez Cabot and his book “Evolving Ourselves” where the artists was fascinated by the author´s perspective of survival of extinction of the human race. In order to accomplish this we will have to mutate, evolve genetically, be taller, survive extreme temperatures. All the endless possibilities the advance in medicine and genetics are creating for the future of our society are reflected in this work. Ironically we sometimes may seem as going backwards as human kinds, we have become more brutal, less tolerant, people fighting to get their place in society, leaders fighting over each other, bullies around government officials, moral values that clearly will not get to us any further as society...
